Job summary

HCRC consulting in Glen Burnie and Hyattsville MD is seeking a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with surgical privileges to join full-time. The candidate will cover both locations and treat motor vehicle accident and worker’s compensation injuries within an integrated musculoskeletal practice, including neurology and rehab services.

The role requires MD/DO, unrestricted Maryland license, and board certification in Orthopedic Surgery, with a comprehensive benefits package and a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Maryland.
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedic surgeon).
• Favorable malpractice history.
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Quality patient care and management.
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• We treat a high number of personal injury patients who have been injured on the job or due to the negligence of another and, therefore, the timeliness and accuracy of documentation and reports are paramount.
• Orthopedic Surgery with surgical privileges at surrounding hospitals.
• Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care.
