Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists in Spokane, WA, is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist (20 hours/week) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will prepare ORs, sterilize instruments, maintain sterile technique, and assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

No nights, weekends, on-call, or major holidays. 7 paid holidays.

Competenze

• Washington State Surgical Tech Registration is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Ability to problem solve and think critically in high-stress situations.
• Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred, but not required.

Mansioni

• Prepares instruments and supplies for each case.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and provides items promptly.
• Maintains and references preference cards and schedules.
• Maintains instrument integrity and reports concerns.
• Assists with turnover and start of cases to promote efficiency.
• Performs sterile scrub and gowns gloves with aseptic technique.
• Conducts sponge and needle counts with RN.
• Disposes of biohazards and follows precautions.
• Operates autoclave and documents results.
