Baldwin Health in Foley, AL is seeking an Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedics unit on a part-time night shift. The RN provides patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinates care with the team, administers medications, and supports pre- and post-operative orthopedic patients.

Qualifications include RN license and BCLS; ACLS/PALS preferred; 0-2 years clinical nursing experience; reliable attendance and adherence to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice (or compact)
• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
