Job summary

NEOMED's New Bitonte College of Dentistry seeks a part-time orthodontics educator (0.4 FTE) to develop and deliver the predoctoral orthodontics curriculum for the DDS program, including classroom, preclinical simulation, and clinical instruction. The position is non-tenure track, with rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The ideal candidate has a DDS/DMD or equivalent, is eligible for Ohio dental licensure, and demonstrates clinical proficiency in orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD or equivalent.
• Must be eligible for licensure in Ohio for a Dentist License or a Limited Dental Teaching License.
• Qualified to be appointed as a faculty member in the College of Dentistry (rank commensurate with qualifications).
• Clinical proficiency in orthodontics.

Responsibilities

• Development and delivery of the orthodontics curriculum for dental students in the DDS program across classroom, preclinical, and clinical instruction.
• Active participation on college and university committees; encouragement to engage in state and national professional dental organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
