Job summary

NEOMED in Ohio seeks a part-time faculty member in the Department of Specialty Dentistry to develop and deliver the predoctoral curriculum in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine for the new DDS program. Responsibilities include didactic, preclinical simulation, and clinical instruction, with occasional patient care support as needed.

The role is non-tenure track and rank will be commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD or equivalent degree is required.
• Must be eligible for licensure in Ohio as a dentist or with a Limited Dental Teaching License.
• Qualified to be appointed as a faculty member in the College of Dentistry (rank commensurate with qualifications).
• Clinical proficiency in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine (including special needs dentistry).

Responsibilities

• Teaching: develop and deliver the Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine curriculum for dental students across didactic, preclinical, and clinical settings.
• Participate in service on college/university committees and engage in professional organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
