Job summary

NEOMED in Ohio seeks a part-time Open Rank Faculty member in Oral Pathology to develop and implement the predoctoral curriculum in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine within the DDS program, including didactic, preclinical, and clinical teaching, with occasional patient care as needed. This non-tenure track appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities include teaching, service on committees, and involvement in state/national dental organizations.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD or equivalent.
• Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio for a Dentist License or a Limited Dental Teaching License.
• Qualified to be appointed as a faculty member in the College of Dentistry (rank commensurate with qualifications).
• Clinical proficiency in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine (including special needs dentistry).

Responsibilities

• Teaching: develop and deliver the Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine curriculum for dental students across the DDS program.
• Service: participate on college and university committees and engage in professional organizations.
• Other duties: perform other duties as assigned.
