Job summary

Metropolitan Surgery Center is seeking a part-time Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to join our ambulatory surgical team. The RN will position and prepare patients for surgery and circulate during cases, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow.

Required: graduation from an accredited RN program, active NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as needed. At least 1 year of circulator experience and strong nursing judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient, and circulate the case.
• Assist in surgical procedures and patient care during operations.
• Experience with ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry and Urology cases.
