Job summary

Metropolitan Surgery Center is seeking a part-time Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to join our ambulatory surgical team in New Jersey. The OR RN will handle patient positioning, prepping, and circulating cases, with exposure to ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology surgeries.

Ideal candidates have graduation from an accredited RN program, an active RN license in the state, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient and circulate the case during surgery.
• Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• Experience in ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology procedures.
