Job summary

Surgery Center of Boerne is seeking a part-time Operating Room Nurse Circulator to join our ambulatory surgery team. The Circulator will position and prep patients, circulate the case, and support the surgical team in Gastroenterology, General, and Orthopedics cases.

This role requires a graduate of an accredited RN program, active RN license in Texas, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as required. A minimum of one year as a Circulator is preferred. Weekdays only, no holidays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Responsibilities

• Position the patient before surgery and ensure proper positioning for the procedure
• Prep the patient and maintain sterile technique as directed
• Circulate the case during surgery, updating the team as needed
• Support the surgical team with equipment and supplies as required
• Experience in the listed surgical specialties is preferred if applicable
