Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. in Austin, TX is hiring an Operating Room Nurse Circulator for the Texas Orthopedic Surgery Center.

The Circulator provides nursing care during surgery, positions and preps patients, and circulates cases within the OR. This role requires an RN from an accredited program, Texas license, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, at least 1 year in the Circulator role, and decisive nursing judgment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in Texas.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Positioning the patient during procedures.
• Prepping the patient for surgery.
• Circulating the case and ensuring safety and sterility.
