Job summary

Surgery Center of Boerne is hiring a Part Time Operating Room Nurse. The RN Circulator will provide nursing care during surgery, position and prep the patient, and circulate the case. Weekdays only; no holidays, weekends, or call.

Some early mornings and later evenings may occur depending on the surgical schedule. The Circulator RN must be an RN in good standing with at least 1 year of OR circulator experience and current BLS/ACLS or PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient and prep the patient.
• Circulate the case during surgery.
• Support patient safety and sterile technique as directed by the surgical team.
