Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a part-time Optometrist (OD) to join our team in Knightdale, NC. You will provide comprehensive eye care using the latest vision care technology and deliver patient-centered services in a traditional office setting.

The ideal candidate holds an OD degree, is licensed in good standing, and collaborates with the office team to ensure high-quality care. Retail/educational or medical optometry experience is a plus; travel within MyEyeDr. regions may be required.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited institution is required.
• License in good standing to practice Optometry in the practicing state is required.
• National Provider Identification (NPI) is required.
• TPA License is required.
• Prior retail/educational/medical office optometry experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate and move about the office is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' vision and eye health.
• Document findings in patient records.
• Counsel patients regarding current status and future vision care needs.
• Collaborate with the office team to provide compassionate, personalized care.
• Practice general and medical optometry with a consistent patient base.
