Job summary

MyEyeDr. in Wilmington, NC seeks a part-time Optometrist (OD) to join our team and deliver patient-centered eye care in a traditional office setting using the latest vision care technology.

The OD will practice general and medical optometry with a consistent patient base in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. OD degree, state license, and NPI required; retail/medical office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited institution.
• License in good standing to practice Optometry in the practicing state.
• NPI number required.
• TPA License required.
• Prior clinical optometry experience in retail/educational/medical office setting is a plus.
• Ability to communicate and move about the office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ vision and health care needs and document findings.
• Consult with patients regarding current status and future requirements.
• Collaborate with office team to provide compassionate, personalized patient care.
