Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a part-time Optometrist (OD) to join our team in a traditional, full-scope office setting. The role may require local travel on a same-day basis within MyEyeDr.

regions, with a focus on practicing general and medical optometry for a steady patient base. The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Optometry, licensure in the practicing state, and NPI/TPA credentials, with a patient-first approach and comfortable pace for quality care.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited institution is required.
• License in good standing to practice Optometry in the practicing state is required.
• National Provider Identification (NPI) is required.
• TPA License is required.
• Prior clinical optometry in retail/educational/medical setting is a plus; all are welcome to apply.
• Ability to communicate, use necessary equipment, and move about the office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ vision and eye health and document findings in patient records and discuss care needs with patients.
• Collaborate with the office team to deliver compassionate, personalized patient care and ensure a high-quality patient experience.
