Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a Part-Time Doctor of Optometry to join an affiliated independent practice adjacent to a Warby Parker store. You will practice under the clinical direction of supervising optometrists and deliver high-quality eye care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

The role offers a flexible schedule for part-time work, a supportive team, and opportunities to educate patients, prescribe eyewear and manage ocular health while maintaining licensure and complying with state

Qualifications

• Licensed Doctor of Optometry in the state where you practice.
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Business-minded and driven to deliver results.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and proactive in problem-solving.
• Maintains state licensure in good standing and CE requirements.
• Not on LEIE list and not excluded from government health programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations.
• Prescribe eyewear and educate patients on options and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with store team to deliver exceptional patient experiences and growth.
• Utilize EMR tools to streamline care and ensure precision.
• Ensure ongoing licensure and participate in continuing education.
