Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a part-time Doctor of Optometry to join an affiliated independent optometry practice adjacent to a Warby Parker store. You will practice under the supervision of the practice's supervising optometrist(s) and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver exceptional vision care.

You’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, fit eyewear, and maintain detailed medical records while staying licensed and engaging with patients.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) licensed to practice in the state.
• Continuing licensure and CE requirements are maintained.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations.
• Prescribe eyewear and contact lenses and educate patients on options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and stay compliant with regulations and protocols.
• Collaborate with store team to enhance patient experience and grow eye exam business.
• Use EMR tools to streamline care and ensure precise documentation.
