Venture Optical Management Inc in Florida is seeking a part-time Optician to support our mission of delivering outstanding patient experiences across multiple area locations.

Interpret prescriptions, advise on frames and lenses, prepare orders, and maintain inventory while ensuring HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.

This role requires optical dispensing knowledge; an optician license is not required. Shifts are 3 days per week from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail when interpreting prescriptions and checking lenses.
• Strong communication skills to explain options clearly to customers.
• Familiarity with optical products and frame/lens terminology.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Follow all state and federal regulations regarding licensing and CE's.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and advise on frame weights, materials, styles and colors.
• Prepare orders for glasses and contact lenses with accuracy.
• Adjust frames and repair to ensure proper fit.
• Maintain inventory of frames and optical supplies.
• Explain patient vision insurance benefits and processing of orders.
• Provide outstanding patient and practice experience and comply with HIPAA requirements.
