Eyeglass World is hiring a Part-Time Sales Associate – Optical Specialist to deliver exceptional customer experiences in-store. You’ll assist with eyewear selection, fittings, and education, ensuring every customer leaves with confidence in their purchase and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service.
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills.
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively.
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction.
• Support store team in shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure eyewear meets Eyeglass World standards for fit, function, and presentation.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff.
• Model Eyeglass World service standards, tone, and behaviors in every interaction.
• Uphold visual, experiential, and operational brand standards in the store.
• Partner with the store team to deliver a consistent and elevated experience.
