Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Part Time Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of our store and guide customers through the Visionworks experience. You’ll be trained in optics and our services to ensure eyewear needs are met simply, personally, and boldly.

You will drive the daily sales, engage with customers, measure eyewear needs, and stay updated with product knowledge through ongoing training. The role includes general store operations including restocking and merchandising.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not required
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training and development
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment
