Job summary

Eyefinity, Inc. in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Part-Time Optical Administrator/Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, process eyewear orders, and support doctors and staff in a fast-paced optical practice.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, measuring bridge and eye size, recommending lenses and frames, assisting customers with frame selection, and promoting patient care programs to grow sales and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to sell and meet sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accurate measurement and eye frame fitting.

Responsibilities

• Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fit lenses and frames.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit customer needs.
• Assist customers in frame selection and coordinate frames with prescription measurements.
• Conduct bridge, eye size, temple length, vertex distance, pupillary distance, and optical center measurements with proper tools.
• Ensure high quality with accurate measurements, pricing, and delivery quotes.
• Maximize managed vision care relationships and sales opportunities.
• Assist with timely implementation of Marketing programs and initiatives.
• Maintain positive host relationships and assist in patient satisfaction surveys.

## Part-Time Optical AdministratorApplyremote type: Onsitelocations: Saint Paul, MNtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-9768The basic function of the Optical Associate, Optician is to attract and retain customers by delivering exceptional customer service, fostering customer retention, and promoting outstanding associate/doctor satisfaction.Drive profitable store sales by fostering a customer care culture through practicing and using effective retail sales skills utilizing the Total Customer Experience ModelDevelop professional business relationships with other Associates, Host, and DoctorFill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fit and adapt lenses and frames, including but not limited to the following:* Utilizing optical prescription, evaluate prescription in conjunction with customer's visual requirements* Recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit customer needs* Assist customers in the selection of frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements and prescription* Conduct measurements of bridge and eye size, temple length, vertex distance, pupillary distance, and optical centers using appropriate toolsEnsure high quality through accurate measurements, correct pricing, and realistic delivery time quotesMaximize Managed Vision Care relationships and sales opportunities as measured by:* Effective plan administration and local service* Improvements in average transaction* Locally initiated plansAssist with the timely implementation of approved Marketing programs by the execution of marketing programs and initiativesEnsure positive and productive host relationships through Host participation, support, and satisfaction measured by Patient Satisfaction SurveysOther duties as assigned by Optical Manager**Job Specifications***Typically has the following skills or abilities:*If Required by State: Applicable State licensure or certification by a nationally recognized optician association as an opticianAbility to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales resultsExperience and results with a retail or customer service establishmentAbility to provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet/exceed customer expectations as well as foster positive and results-oriented associate, doctor, and host relationshipsSuccess in store merchandising and attention to detailMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in related fieldCompensation range for the role is listed below.
