Job summary

El Guapo is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate in New Orleans, LA. You will process orders, pick/pack, label shipments, and ensure accurate packaging and postage.

You will maintain inventory, organize stock, support production packaging, and assist in ensuring quality and timely deliveries while upholding safety standards. Availability Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, 15–25 hours/week, October to December 2026.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process product orders, including picking, packing, and postage processing.
• Maintain inventory stockroom and inform management of shortages to keep website info accurate.
• Organize stock and store goods in designated locations.
• Provide customer service to external partners; ensure positive interactions.
• Verify incoming shipments by comparing packing slips to orders and condition.
• Ensure all items meet company quality standards and packaging requirements.
• Assist production team with packaging and storage of products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Process product orders, including picking, packing, and processing postage. Ensure all shipments receive the proper labeling and postal charges and are packaged to arrive safely
• Maintain inventory stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis. Keep management aware of product shortages in order to maintain accurate information on the company website
• Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated location
• Practice customer service when interacting with other companies and clients and see to it all external parties receive a positive interaction with the company
• Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the packing slips to orders and ensuring all goods are in acceptable condition
• Ensure all items being shipped meet company quality standards
• Ensure all items are packaged and shipped to company standards
• Assist the production team with packaging and storing products
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing.
• Ability to work autonomously and with little or no supervision.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Personal accountability and integrity are paramount.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and G Suite is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with shipping platforms such as Shopify or Shipstation is a plus, but not required.
• Experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet jack is a plus, but not required.

Education & Training Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

About the Position

• $16- $18 Per Hour.
• 15-25 hours per week with the possibility of more.
• Must be available to work between the hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
• This is a temporary position.
• Must be available between October 2026 - December 2026.
