Job summary

Hireology in Whippany, NJ is seeking a dependable Shipping Associate to support daily warehouse shipping operations. You will handle pick lists, ship orders, and maintain accurate inventory records using ShipStation, Excel, and our IQ Reseller system.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good English communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a dependable and organized Shipping Associate to support and coordinate our daily warehouse shipping operations. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with computers and inventory systems while also being able to perform the physical duties required in a warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Excel, warehouse picking and shipping processes, and be comfortable learning and working with systems such as ShipStation and our internal inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, organize, and manage daily pick lists using ShipStation and Excel.

• Ability to accurately search for and identify products using SKUs and inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple orders and shipping requirements.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position. The employee must be able to:

• Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform picking duties throughout the workday. This warehouse does not have AC in the summer.
• Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Safely use warehouse stairs/steps to access and pick products stored at elevated locations.
• Perform repetitive picking, packing, and material-handling activities.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
One-hour unpaid lunch break

This is a hands-on position that combines shipping coordination, computer work, inventory management, and physical warehouse responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of daily shipping activities while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a safe working environment.
