Job summary

EDU Healthcare is hiring a part-time, onsite School-Based Social Worker to support our district partners right after Winter Break through ESY. You will provide counseling and support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges and collaborate with school teams, families, and community resources to promote student success.

The ideal candidate holds an MSW and active school social work licensure, with experience in a school setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Active state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker as per state requirements.
• Experience with children or in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and support services for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and strategies to promote student success.
• Participate in IEP and 504 planning and meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and administrators to support student growth and well-being.
• Serve as a liaison between schools, families, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and licensing requirements.
