• BSN degree preferred.
• OCN certification preferred.
• Infusion experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate oncology nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed chemotherapy and biologic treatments under physician supervision.
• Administers hydration, iron therapies and injections as prescribed.
• Monitors patients and assists with oral chemotherapy adherence.
• Educates patients and families about medications and side effects.
• Accesses ports, PICC lines and starts IVs.
• Oversees infusion schedules and maintains patient flow.
• Performs therapeutic phlebotomy.
