Job summary

Beacon Clinic in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Full-Time RN Infusion Nurse to provide oncology nursing care, administer chemotherapy, hydration, and related treatments in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires an Idaho RN License, CPR/BLS, and ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card with strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Pay starts at $38/hour. Onsite clinic setting with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Idaho RN License required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card required upon hire or within 90 days.
• BSN preferred.
• OCN certification preferred.
• Infusion experience strongly preferred.
• Medical oncology and rheumatology terminology appreciated but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate oncology nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed chemotherapy and biologic treatments under physician supervision.
• Administers hydration, iron treatments and injections as prescribed.
• Monitors patients and assists with oral chemotherapy compliance.
• Educates patients and families regarding medications and side effects.
• Accesses ports, PICC lines and starts IVs.
• Oversees infusion schedules and maintains timely flow of patients.
• Performs therapeutic phlebotomy.
