Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital is seeking a seasoned Oncology Accreditation Data Specialist to support accreditation compliance, data reporting and quality initiatives across the Cancer Center in Cortlandt Manor, NY. This part-time role requires coordinating with physicians, leaders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure adherence to CoC, NAPBC, NYS and NCDB standards.

You will oversee data collection, reporting accuracy and policy management, while supporting performance improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field is required.
• Strong analytical, reporting and computer skills are essential.
• Experience with accreditation organizations and regulatory reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret oncology accreditation requirements and communicate regulatory updates to leadership.
• Coordinate Cancer Committee activities, meetings and accreditation submissions.
• Prepare, analyze, validate and report cancer-related data and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors for data collection and reporting.
• Conduct documentation and quality audits to ensure accreditation standards.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and track outcomes.
• Maintain accreditation-related policies and procedures.
• Coordinate cancer conferences and CME participation processes.
• Develop reports and presentations for leadership and committee review.
• Educate team members on accreditation standards and reporting requirements.
