Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor, NY is seeking an experienced Oncology Accreditation Data Specialist to support accreditation compliance, data reporting, and quality improvement across the Cancer Center.

You will monitor accreditation standards (CoC, NAPBC, NCDB) and coordinate Cancer Committee activities, submissions, and policy management, while collaborating with physicians and staff to maintain regulatory readiness and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health information management or related field.
• Experience with accreditation organizations and regulatory reporting agencies.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and computer skills; budgeting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret oncology accreditation requirements and update leadership.
• Coordinate Cancer Committee activities, meetings, documentation, and submissions.
• Prepare, analyze, validate, and report cancer-related data and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to support data collection and reporting processes.
• Conduct documentation and quality audits to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and track outcomes.
• Maintain accreditation-related policies and procedures.
• Coordinate cancer conferences and CME participation processes.
• Develop reports and presentations for leadership and committee review.
• Educate team members on accreditation standards and reporting requirements.
