Florida Gulf Coast University is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to foster a positive on-campus living environment. You will build community, mediate conflicts, and support residents through programs and supervision of residence life activities.

As a current FGCU student with a 2.50 GPA or higher, you will balance housing duties with coursework, participate in training, and assist with hurricane and incident responses as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a current FGCU student.
• GPA of 2.50 or higher.
• Ability to balance academics with on-campus duties.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods as needed.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsabilités

• Builds community and mediates conflicts among residents.
• Encourages involvement in university programs and events.
• Assists with policy explanations and housing procedures.
• Supports residence hall openings, move-ins, and move-outs.
• Provides on-call coverage and safety checks in assigned buildings.
