Job summary

NORA, the Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance, seeks part-time on-call Organ Transport Drivers to support organ procurement logistics nationwide. Responsibilities include transporting organs, teams and supplies using NORA vehicles for emergency and non-emergency missions.

Qualifications include EVOC preferred, must be 25+, and capable of 30–35 minute report times, with on-call 24-hour shifts and on-call pay plus weekend/holiday hours. Benefits include 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• EVOC certification preferred.
• Must be 25 years or older.
• Able to report within 30–35 minutes of assignment.
• Acceptable driving record per DMV, reviewed annually.
• Able to work 24-hour on-call shifts.
• Professional, service-oriented approach.
• Background and drug screening required; prior convictions may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lift, push, pull, and carry organ storage containers.
• Load OrganOx liver machine into vehicle using ramp or lift.
• Load/unload transport vehicles with containers and supplies.
• Transport medical teams, organs, tissues, donors, and supplies safely.
• Assemble, inventory and photograph supplies.
• Verify equipment with Dispatch before deployment.
• Maintain top quality, safety and customer service during transports.
