NORA, the Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance, is hiring part-time, on-call Organ Transport Drivers to support emergency and non-emergency organ procurement transportation across the nation and Illinois.

Drivers will collect organ storage containers and transport medical teams, organs, tissues, donors, and supplies using NORA vehicles, with on-call shifts typically 2–3 per week. Pay includes $28.00/hour during active transport and $50.00/day on-call. 401(k) and other benefits apply.

Qualifications

• EVOC certification preferred.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must be able to report to location within 30–35 minutes of transport assignment location.
• Acceptable state driving record verified through DMV, reviewed annually.
• Ability to work 24-hour on-call shifts.
• Professional, service-oriented approach.
• Successful background and drug screening; criminal charges and convictions may be considered if substantially related to the position.

Responsabilités

• Lift, push, pull, and carry organ storage containers.
• Load organs and equipment into a vehicle using a ramp or lift.
• Load and unload transport vehicles with containers and supplies.
• Transport medical teams, organs, and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Assemble, inventory and photograph supplies.
• Complete verification with Dispatch prior to deployment of equipment.
• Maintain highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
