Job summary

NORA in Seattle is seeking part-time, on-call Organ Transport Drivers to support the Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance mission. You will collect organ storage containers and transport medical teams, organs, tissues, and supplies using NORA vehicles for both emergency and non-emergency missions.

This role offers on-call compensation and weekend/holiday hours with 24-hour shifts and the chance to serve the organ transplant community while earning extra income.

Qualifications

• EVOC certification preferred; driving experience required.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Able to report within 30–35 minutes of assignment.
• Clean driving record, DMV reviewed annually.
• Willing to work 24-hour on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying organ storage containers
• Operating NORA vehicles in emergency and non-emergency situations
• Loading/unloading transport containers and supplies
• Transporting medical teams, organs, tissue donors safely and efficiently
• Push and pull cots and transfer tissue donors
• Maintain high standards of customer service, safety, and quality
