Job summary

NORA is seeking part-time, on-call Organ Transport Drivers to join our mission-driven team. Drivers collect organ storage containers and transport medical teams, organs, tissues, tissue donors, and supplies using NORA vehicles for emergency and non-emergency organ procurement transportation.

This role offers 24-hour on-call shifts (2-3 per week), on-call pay, and weekend/holiday hours, with a professional, inclusive workplace and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• EVOC certified preferred.
• Must be 25 years or older.
• Ability to report within 30–35 minutes of assignment.
• Acceptable state DMV driving record.
• Ability to work 24-hour on-call shifts.
• Professional, service-oriented approach.
• Successful background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lift/pull/carry organ storage containers.
• Load OrganOx liver machine with ramp or lift.
• Load/unload transport vehicles with containers.
• Transport medical teams, organs, donors, and supplies via NORA vehicles.
• Assemble, inventory and photograph supplies.
• Verify equipment with Dispatch before deployment.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and service.
