Job summary

Continuum Hospice & Palliative Care Massachusetts is currently seeking a Part Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bourne, MA, covering Orleans and Chatham. The role focuses on identifying patient needs, coordinating care, and providing compassionate support during critical moments.

Schedule: Every Other Weekend 8 am–8 pm. Qualifications include a RN license, BSN preferred, 1 year hospital or hospice experience, EMR proficiency and CPR as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

• Provide Empathetic and Heartfelt Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Every detail is crucial in delivering high-quality care, both in the patient's home and within our agency and regulatory standards.
• Provide Support for Families: Impact patients' families by sharing your knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones. Your presence offers confidence and reassurance during this challenging time.
