Job summary

Terratron is seeking an Event Set Up crew member in Mankato, MN. You will prepare spaces, set up and tear down tables, chairs, AV, and related materials while maintaining cleanliness and safety for guests.

You should be reliable, service‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible scheduling including weekends/evenings is expected; Terratron offers training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests professionally in service areas.
• Set up event spaces per BEOs: tables, chairs, AV, equipment, room layouts.
• Coordinate or support event logistics, staffing, and supplies.
• Serve food and beverages, including alcohol where assigned.
• Clear tables, reset spaces, and maintain service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms, spaces, and storage areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines for food and service.
• Break down events and restore spaces to condition.
• Report guest, client, or safety concerns to leadership.
• Assist with cash handling, inventory, and vendor activity.
• Verify age when serving alcohol where applicable.
• Support culinary teams and service needs as assigned.
• Adhere to policies and property-specific expectations.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform as assigned.

Job Summary

Bring events to life behind the scenes by preparing spaces that are organized, clean, safe, and ready for guests. Event Set Up prepares event spaces by setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, staging, AV, floors, equipment, and related event materials while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests professionally while being present in service areas


• Set up event spaces according to BEOs, including tables, chairs, staging, AV, technical equipment, and room arrangements


• Coordinate or support event logistics, staffing, supplies, timing, and guest needs


• Serve food and beverages, including alcohol where assigned and permitted


• Clear tables, reset spaces, replenish items, and maintain service flow


• Maintain meeting rooms, event spaces, storage areas, and service areas for cleanliness and organization


• Follow safe food, alcohol service, sanitary, and workplace guidelines


• Break down events and return spaces to standard condition


• Communicate guest, client, supply, maintenance, or safety concerns to leadership


• Support cash handling, inventory, ordering, and vendor activity where assigned


• Ask for proof of age when alcohol is served and applicable


• Run food, support culinary teams, and assist with service needs as assigned


• Adhere to company policies, standards, procedures, and property-specific expectations


• Extend professionalism to guests, residents, customers, clients, vendors, and associates


• Be proactive, prompt, dependable, and attentive to detail
