Job summary

University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, invites applications for two 0.1 FTE Clinical Instructor positions.

Responsibilities include academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels, supervision of dental students, and patient care in the OMS clinics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic at University of Maryland Medical Centre.

Qualifications

• DDS, DMD or equivalent degree.
• Eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland.
• Possession of or eligibility for a class III anesthesia permit is desirable.
• Formal residency training in Oral Surgery/Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred.
• Experience in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels.
• Supervision of dental students.
• Care of patients in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic and the Acute Care Clinic.
• Participation in clinics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and University of Maryland Medical Centre.
