Job summary

The University of Maryland, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, seeks two part-time Clinical Instructor positions at 0.1 FTE (one day per week every other week).

Responsibilities include academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels, supervision of dental students, and care of patients in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic and acute care settings. MD licensure and DDS/DMD are required; anesthesia permit desirable.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD or equivalent degree required.
• Eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland required.
• Possession or eligibility for a Maryland class III anesthesia permit highly desirable.
• Formal OMFS residency training preferred.
• Experience in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels.
• Supervise dental students.
• Care for patients in the OMFS Clinic, Acute Care Clinic, and related OMFS clinics.
