Job summary

The University of Maryland School of Dentistry invites applications for a part-time Clinical Instructor position (40% FTE) in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Primary responsibilities include the delivery of general anesthesia and sedation for dental patients, participation in didactic and clinical education of dental students and residents through lectures and seminars, and involvement in departmental and institutional administrative activities.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD or equivalent degree.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited Dental Anesthesiology residency.
• Eligibility for regular or limited licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland.
• Current ADBA board certification or board eligibility with diplomate within five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general anesthesia and sedation for dental patients.
• Participate in didactic and clinical education of dental students and residents through lectures and seminars.
• Engage in departmental and institutional administrative activities.

Education

CODA-accredited Dental Anesthesiology residency
