Job summary

Enry JP Corporation (Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Franchise) in Tustin, CA is seeking an Office / HR Assistant for part-time support of payroll, HR tasks, and daily office operations. The role offers hands-on experience across administration and human resources.

The position is ideal for students or individuals with other commitments, offering 2–3 days per week at about 5 hours per day. Training provided; competitive hourly pay and room to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, HR, accounting, or administrative work is preferred but not required (training provided).
• Proficient with computers and basic software (Excel, Microsoft Office, email, Google Drive).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual in Portuguese or Japanese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll processing and recordkeeping.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with ordering and basic inventory tracking.
• Maintain and update records using QuickBooks and internal systems.
• Provide administrative support for HR-related tasks (onboarding, documentation, compliance tracking, scheduling interviews).
• Assist with general office coordination and communication.
• Assist with creating reports.
