Plastpro 2000 Inc in Ohio seeks an Office Assistant to perform routine clerical duties supporting department operations. You will operate copiers, scanners, phones and PCs, answer calls, enter data, maintain filing systems, prepare forms and reports, and manage mail and supplies.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or technical schooling with about 1 year of clerical experience and basic MS Office skills. This on-site role supports a safe, organized plant office environment.

SUMMARYThe Office Assistant performs various routine clerical duties to support operations of the department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Operate office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.• Answer incoming calls; transfers callers and takes messages as needed.• Enter and update information in databases.• Maintain filing systems either manually or electronically.• Prepare forms, memos, letters, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.• Monitor inventory levels and orders supplies.• Open, sort and distribute incoming mail; process outgoing mail.• May manage calendars and schedules appointments.• May serve as the receptionist for the Plant office, greeting visitors and applicants.• Maintain designated work spaces in a clean, safe and timely manner in compliance with Plant THM/Safety policy.• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
