Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Pineville, LA invites an Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility on a part-time basis. The role offers 20–30 hours per week with daytime weekday availability and compensation of $45–$50 per hour.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, creating and adjusting treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and the care team to promote functional independence and safe discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and enhance functional abilities; educate clients and families.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and assist in accessing community resources and accommodations.
