Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time occupational therapist to provide patient-focused therapy under medical direction at the Grand Rapids rehab site. You will educate patients and caregivers and coordinate adaptive equipment as needed.

The role requires MI OT licensure (and OTR certification), BLS, and completion of the required degrees; a CHt certification is preferred. Site: Leffingwell Rehab & Nursing, Grand Rapids, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Master's Degree preferred
• MI OT license required
• OTR certification required on hire
• MI driver's license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required on hire
• BLS certification (ARC) required on hire
• CHT certification preferred on hire

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program

Master's Degree

State MI Occupational Therapist license (OT)

NB-COT Certified Occupational Therapist, OTRO Certification (CRT-OTR)

MI Driver's License

BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

BLS Certification (American Red Cross)

Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
