Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient care under supervision. You will provide OT services to help improve basic motor functions and cognitive reasoning, and you will teach patients to adapt daily living tasks in home and work settings.

Responsibilities include patient and caregiver education, with opportunities to work in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited therapy assistant program.
• Experience as a therapy assistant.
• Preferred experience in neurological injury, TBI, and spinal cord injury.
• NB-COT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required on hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsabilités

• Provide occupational therapy services to improve motor functions and reasoning.
• Teach patients to perform daily living tasks in home and work environments.
• Educate patients and caregivers as part of treatment.
