Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a part-time role in Rehab Resource Pool – Grand Rapids Hosp. The therapist provides therapy to patients under medical direction and educates patients and caregivers while arranging adaptive equipment as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in OT (Master's preferred), Michigan licensure on hire, and BLS/CHT credentials as noted; on-site work with daytime hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Preferred Master's Degree.
• LIC-Occupational Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) - NB-COT National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Upon Hire required.
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required.
• CRT-Hand Therapist, Certified (CHT) - HTCC Hand Therapy Certification Commission Hand Therapy Program Upon Hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
