Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist at Belmont Healthcare Center in Belmont, WV. You will evaluate residents, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate the rehab team and families under physician orders.

You will supervise COTAs and participate in interdisciplinary meetings, with opportunities to treat at multiple locations to meet residents’ diverse needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Occupational Therapy License.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient’s occupational needs evaluation under physician order and develop a treatment plan.
• Implement treatment plan through direct treatment and education of treatment staff involved in the plan.
• Provide supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and recommendations.
• Opportunity to treat at multiple locations to meet residents' needs.
