Job summary

Charleston Healthcare Center in Charleston, WV is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to assess residents, develop individual treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to improve daily functioning and quality of life.

Join a collaborative rehab team with opportunities to supervise COTAs, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and coordinate care across multiple CommuniCare centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Occupational Therapy License.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient’s/resident’s occupational needs evaluation under physician order and develop a treatment plan.
• Implement treatment plan through direct treatment and education of staff involved in treatment plan.
• Provide supervision for COTAs.
• Attend and/or lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to rehab team and families.
• Opportunity to treat at multiple locations to serve diverse resident needs.
