Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position split between Belmont and Worthington Healthcare Centers. Qualifications

• COTA education from an accredited two-year associate degree program.
• Valid or pending State COTA license.

Responsibilities

• Helps clients improve their quality of life by helping them compensate for limitations, such as re-entering the labor force and increasing independence.
• Implements treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with Occupational Therapist, and educates staff and family.
• Complies with documentation requirements of the rehab department under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
