CommuniCare Rehab, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, seeks a Part-Time Occupational Therapist at Belmont Healthcare Center in Belmont, WV. Our therapists are in-house team members dedicated to high-quality, person-centered care.

You will evaluate residents’ OT needs, develop and implement treatment plans, supervise COTAs, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings. The role offers mobility across locations to meet diverse resident needs and a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Holds a valid or pending state OT license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ occupational needs under physician order and develop a treatment plan.
• Implement treatment plans through direct care and staff education.
• Provide supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/Lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and advise families.
• Treat residents at multiple locations as needed to meet care needs.

Qualifications/Must Have's

• A Bachelor's, Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited Program. Hold a valid or pending State Occupational Therapy License

Responsibilities

• Perform patient's/resident's occupational needs evaluation under physician order and develop a treatment plan in accordance with patient's needs.
• Implement treatment plan through direct treatment, as well as education of treatment staff including therapists and other members of team involved in treatment plan.
• Provide necessary supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/Lead interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to other members of rehab team, including family education and consultation.
