Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Point Pleasant, WV is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehab team at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center. You will evaluate residents' occupational needs and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the physician order.

You will implement therapies, educate treatment staff, supervise COTAs, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings to share findings and recommendations, with opportunities to work across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid or pending state OT license.
• Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient’s/resident’s occupational needs evaluation under physician order and develop a treatment plan.
• Implement treatment plan and educate treatment staff including therapists and other team members.
• Provide supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and recommendations.
• Opportunity to treat at multiple locations to serve diverse residents.
