Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an on-site employee health clinic in Scotts Valley, CA. Part-time, 20 hours/week, daytime schedule, with duties spanning urgent care, screenings, and preventive care.

You will perform exams, wellness activities, and case management, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant health records and reporting to the Medical Director. Requires CA license, DEA, ACLS/BLS, and occupational medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in California with national certification.
• Unrestricted DEA license.
• ACLS and/or BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years in advanced practice; occupational medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-aid and medical treatment for workers per WC standards.
• Perform regulatory testing, TB tests, immunizations, blood draws, drug testing if required.
• Maintain employee health records and HIPAA compliance.
• Develop relationships with client management and medical staff.
• Perform case management and return-to-work clearances.
