Job summary

WorkCare Inc. in Scotts Valley, CA is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide on-site health services at a large-scale construction site. The role offers 20 hours per week with a day shift and hourly pay between $88 and $90.

Responsibilities include first aid, medical treatment, occupational health testing, and maintaining confidential health records in compliance with HIPAA. Collaboration with the Medical Director and client management is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California with national certification in the state applying to.
• Must have unrestricted DEA license.
• Current ACLS/BLS certifications.
• A minimum of 3 years advanced practice experience with prior occupational medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-aid, medical treatment and follow-up for workers.
• Perform regulatory testing, TB tests, immunizations, blood draws, drug testing if required.
• Maintain employee health records and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate with client management and provide timely reporting.
• Support clinic management and liaison with Medical Director.

Skills

ACLS/BLS certifications

Occupational medicine experience

CA NP/PA license with CA cert

Education

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California with national certification

Unrestricted DEA license
